Batpaw's Story

I am Batpaw of the Shadowclan. I have been to many places and seen many things. It all started when I was born. I was born to a panther mom and dad. But something was wrong with me. My paws were that of bats (where I get my name). From where I came from, bats were feared creeatures and I was abandend. I would have died on my own, but was found and raised by tabbys. I was very greatful but longed to be out in the real world, for with them, I was not alowed on my own, or anywhere out of a 10 foot range from my cave. One day, evil cats came and attacked, I fought valliantly but I was young and was knocked out. When I awoke, my family was d ead and I was alone. I went out and journeyed on my own. After many days without food or water I fell, and I saw a tall, shadowy figure approaching me. And then, I fainted.

EDIT BY PANTHERSTAR:This will show how I met Pantherstar and my first real battle. (The one's with my foster parents killers doesn't count) This will be out on March 15. (p.s.: keep this on one post, okay batpaw?)




Note: I never read any of the Warriors books. I joined because I am a good friend of Pantherstar, so if this doesn't follow the continuity of the books, don't blame me!!

Do what I do! Don't post a date when you'll write next, and try to write every day. That way, people [me] won't be disapointed when it dosn't come. And, you only have to write when you feel like it!

Batpaw's Story Part 2

I awoke in a strange place. I noticed I was lying on a raised platform while dozens of cats surrounded me. One of them approached me and poked me hard. I yelled "Ow! What was that for??!!" The cat ran away quickly yelling "HE SPEAKS!!" to the crowed. There was a lot of commotion as I sat up. Finally someone yelled "SILENCE!!!" and approached me. "W-where am I?" I stammered as he got onto the platform. "You are injured, try not to speak...." "NO, I WANT ANSWERS!!! WHERE AM I??" I snaped. The crowed gasped. "Everyone leave." the leader said. "Now!" There was a clutter of activity, then finally we were all alone. "You are in the Riverclan, I found you injured in the fields and brought you here. I am Pantherstar, the leader. Now, what is your story?" So after I told him my story, he permitted me to stay in the Riverclan. We became good friends. He even trained me and promised to make me an apprentice. When the time came for my ceremonie, we were attacked by ferocious foxes. Everyone got away safely but Pantherstar and I stayed to fight. "Are you ready?" he asked. "Oh yeah" I answered. With a slight laugh he said "Then let's go!" And then we charged. It was an awesome battle, two cats against 4 foxes. I tackled a fox and we fought ferocioulsy. I couldn't see Pantherstar but I figured he was ok. After a long hard fight, I defeated the fox I was fighting. I looked to see Pantherstar with 2 foxes. "Not bad" I said with a shrug. "One left" he replided. As We slowly approached the last fox I said "Dosen't your clan have warriors to fight with us?" "Alas, they're cowards all of them. They can't even catch a small fish unless it's already . So, we're on our own." he replied. "Well, this should be easy" but just as I said that, a dozen more foxes arrived, all hungry. "But it might take a while" I added.

Thanks for reading my story thus far. Unfortunatly Part 3 won't be out 'til the 22. Just in time for Easter!! I'll try to make it worth the wait but I can't guarantee anything.

Well, it's early but here it is, the finale, Batpaw's Story Part 3!!!! Enjoy.

The army of foxes closed in, and I began to get scared. How were we supposed to survive against an army of vicious foxes? "What do we do?" I asked Pantherstar
"Fight of course" he replied. I said "But, we're out numbered. How are we supposed to survive?"
He smiled and said "You underestimate my power, and yours" "Wait wha..." I started but then he lunged at the foxes. It was amazing he killed two foxes with a single blow and then took out five more. All the foxes were distracted by Pantherstar, so I took advantage of it and attacked. I defeated many foxes before the others even realized it. Very soon there were barely any foxes left. Finally, one of the foxes got wise and scratched me hard in the back. I yelled in pain. "Batkit!" Pantherstar cried (I was not an apprentice at this time) but a fox snuck up behind him and knocked him out. Now I was injured and surrounded by the 3 remaining foxes. I couldn't get up, what would I do now? Then, a fox attempted to attack me but I tripped it with my fall and it landed another fox, it. So there was one fox remaining (besides the one I tripped who was out cold). It started forward, I was getting ready to die but then, it fell to the ground. I looked and there stood Pantherstar, triumphantly. With his help I got back to camp and we held my apprentice ceremonie. But they decided I would do best in Shadowclan. As I was leaving, Pantherstar came to say goodbye. "Will I ever see you guys again?" I asked. "You are always welcome in Riverclan" he said. "So long as you don't give away any of our secrets."
"Don't worry about that" I said. "You have my word."
"Then get going" he said "Bye, see ya, get outta here!"
I smiled and began walking, my whole future ahead of me, knowing no matter what happened I could always come back to Riverclan.

Epilouge: I finally arrived at the Shadowclan camp, and one of the warriors greeted me. "Hello there Batpaw" he said. "We've been expecting you" I nodded as I walked in. Then I saw the great wonders of Shadowclan of which I cannot speak of but upon seeing them I smiled knowing that this was my future.
